Soundbath

Sound plays an important role in my sessions, allowing you to tap into different healing frequencies. The vibrations emitted by instruments (like handpans, singing bowls, and the digeridoo) shift your brain waves from alertness to a more meditative state. This facilitates a deep sense of peace, clearing a path for transformation and emotional integration.

A study by Tamara Goldsby at the University of California SanDiego showed sound baths reduce tension, anxiety, and depression, while also enhancing overall well-being. This is due to something called “the entrainment process”. This refers to the brain’s synchronisation with sound frequencies, and the transition to a relaxed state that encourages healing.

More than just a great way to relax, sound baths facilitate a journey into our deeper selves. They calm the nervous system, widen the window of tolerance, and provide the necessary space for somatic reflection.

“The primordial sound of the universe is something every living creature hums and vibrates to. If you are still, you will not only hear it, you will feel it.”
